I already feel like cars are giving me more space on shared roadways and bike lanes. I'm using the rolling flash for night riding.
Quality engineered design. Bright...this is max
Okay, so I've had this light for a week now and have identified the good and poorer points. As far as the function of having a rear light - to be seen and noticeable, it ticks every box going! From the very first use I've noticed that cars no longer swoop around me, EVERY car has given me lots of space. I think the light confuses them and they avoid me/it, which is perfect.
The area that I'm concerned about, is how unstable the clip feels against the seat post - despite having the tightest band in place, the clip wobbles, and so this transfers into the light wobbling even MORE. I'm nervous on how rattly the light is and fear that it might jump out of the clip, as its only held down by a magnet. Also, my seat post isn't straight up, it leans back slightly, so the light, held against the seat post, points slightly downwards and not entirely to the rear, as I'd prefer.
Okay, well, it's early days and we'll see how we get on.
