HUNDREDS OF RIDERS COVERED THOUSANDS OF KILOMETRES ACROSS STUNNING AND SERENE POLISH COUNTRYSIDE. RIDING FOR 12+ HOURS AT A TIME COMPETITORS COMPLETED A SERIES OF CHECKPOINTS, WITH THE LEADERS SLEEPING ONLY MINUTES AT A TIME.

Race Through Poland No.7 is in over — and what a chaotic, cold, completely unhinged race it was. 1500km across five countries, stitched together with cobblestones, gravel, tarmac, and just enough existential dread to keep things interesting.

Kicking off in Polanica Zdrój — a sleepy Polish spa town that quickly traded tranquillity for thigh-busting chaos. Riders snaked through the rugged Góry Bystrzyckie, climbed deep into the Jizera Mountains, and crossed into Czechia beneath ancient beech canopies and the notorious gradient of “Hardship Road.” Germany brought smoother tarmac but no mercy, with Saxony serving up cold winds and fast descents before Šumava’s Bohemian Forest reminded everyone why fairytales are actually terrifying.

The route pushed further into panoramic punishment via Dreisessel’s sky-high views and the raw, relentless climbs of Jeseníky, before looping back to Polanica with 1500km and 24,000m of elevation in the legs.

It wasn’t just a ride — it was a multi-country gauntlet of unraveling comfort zones, as riders climbed 24,000 metres of elevation with numb fingers, tired legs, and questionable life choices.
