Great light let down by fundamental design flaw.

Light has awesome visibility and is perfect for commuting through the city on busy bike lanes, if only it didn't have fundamentally flawed mounting hardware which requires nearly breaking the light in order to remove it and charge.

The mounting hardware has a tongue and groove design which easily gets jammed with road grime, which will inevitably occur given it is a rear light. I've needed to nearly snap the light off the mount so that I can charge it as the charging USB is concealed by the mounting hardware. I suspect I'll get one more use out of it (a total of 4 uses) before its damaged such that I can't mount it any more.

Really not good enough for a $100 light. Better to buy a simple generic light for $20.

Not worth the money

for the price of this light i would expect it to have a better battery life. it fits my seatpost really well and i like the flashing options but for $70 i would expect it to hold a charge for longer. even the $15 generic light i bought in amazon flashes for longer.

Better to use upside down?

I noticed that using the rear cobber light upside down is better for your light button (in my bike configuration).
I had some problems with mud and sand in the button and piece of tape helps me to solve this problem.
But flipping the light upside down is a simpler solution as for me.
Here is example of using it “normal/basic” on me bike. As you can see the water with some particles drops directly on the button. At the same time bottom of device is absolutely clear.

‘Knog’s Cobber Mid is an impressive light with a simple and elegant design.’

Why you'll love riding with Mid Cobber.

The world's only 330 degree rear bike light.

Simple Button

Mid Cobber Rear is simple to operate. A long press of the single button will turn the light on and off, and a short press will cycle through the modes. Cobber has a run time of up 100 hours.

Packed With Innovation

Efficient Chip on Board (COB) LEDs provide maximum brightness level for up to 90% of the battery burn time. As well as 8 pre-programmed modes, it’s also compatible with Knog's ModeMaker app so you can customize your light modes.

Mount With Ease

Cobber comes with tool-less removable silicone straps for bars and seat posts 22 – 32mm+ diameter and a magnetic mount. Cobber comes with a standard and Aero mount.

Integrated USB Connector

You can plug Mid Cobber directly into USB-A ports, meaning no cables. Ever. When your Cobber is running low on battery, a red ring will light up around the button. This ring will turn green and then turn off once the Cobber is fully charged.
