Decibels (dB) are used for measuring the relative loudness of sounds. Our bells and alarms are 80 & 85 dB respectively, which together with their tone, cuts through the noisiest of environments, while remaining below a harmful dB level.
Bike bells generally look & sound a bit ugly. But why? What if they looked sexy & sounded like an angel playing a glockenspiel? A bell with a beautiful tone, but also a remarkable style and choice of materials that embodies a rider’s personality. The Large size fits 23.8 – 31.8mm bars, while the Small fits 22.2mm bars. Consult the size guide here to decide which size is right for you.

Well built. Ring is perfect for the trail.
So often on a busy public trial there are walkers and slower bikes...passing is always a challenge as you never know if folks hear you....this bell is loud enough to get their attention and is easily accessible on the handlebar...great addition to my bike!
I purchased one for my wife as a birthday gift. I bought the second for me. Easy to put on the bike and love the sound.
Very happy with my Knog Oi Classic Bike Bell. It was very easy to install and very easy to use. I have only used it twice with a handlebar bag and found the bell to not make the nice chime it does since it sits behind the bag. Will have to do more testing where I can put the bell if I have a handlebar bag on my ride.
Overall, very happy with the bell.
Best looking bell out there. Super stealthy. But I'll be replacing my (second) broken one with something else.
Two problems:
- Much too quiet. I ending up just calling "coming through on your left"
- The construction of the hammer is simply poor. Comes off too easily. I replaced my first bell because of this. I recently had to do some work on my chain and put my bike on its handlebars. Only noticed much later that the hammer had pinged off.
Real shame, but I'll be buying my next bell elsewhere
p.s. I should note, however: Bravo to Knog for allowing negative reviews on their own site!
