Works very well on my recumbent trike! I have it attached to the seat stay.
My old rear light was simple to use and I couldn't remember when I last charged it... this one... so far, depending on settings... I've been charging it at least once a week?! YUCK. Again though, it's early days, and maybe I haven't found the optimum setting? OR maybe it'll get better with use?! Meh- it's a rear red flashy light that stays where you put it.
I like the ability to use it in multiple locations, whether clipping on your shirt or clipping on your bike. I like the ability of the way it charges by simply just plugging it in to the receptacle no wires to use for charging.
Very easy to mount and use, nice to be able to unhook it easily to use off the bike, or just so that it doesn't get stolen. Good brightness!
I originally bought one of these as it was the only decent rear light I could find that would hook on a strap. When I go bikepacking I have nowhere to put a rear light except on the saddle bag. so i hook it onto the strap that closes it. I do wish though it was tighter I have to put a elastic hair tie around it so it won't slide or bump off. For the lumens advertised it produces an incredibly bright light.
