I really like this light. It's bright and visible from the side as well as the rear. It's so bright I think that cars are giving me a little more room but that could be my imagination. Battery life is fine.
There are some flaws though. The biggest is the mount. It's great when new but I take my light off once I arrive at work, (to prevent theft) and put it on again before cycling home. After a few months the connection between the light and the mount is very loose. If I go over a bump the light comes off. I have to look back every few minutes to see if my light is still attached to the bike. I've already lost one and the current one has hit the road at least 20-30 times but I've managed to retrieve it from the road.
I had a battery fail after around a few months and Knog were great. They supplied a replacement pretty quickly.
Another issue is the on/off button. After riding in the rain for several days in a row it becomes incredibly stiff and it is almost impossible to turn the light on. I have been spraying silicon into the switch every month or so to prevent this.
I do like the light though and I'm now on my third. It's rugged as well. If it wasn't for the mount and the switch it would easily rate 5 stars.
