Cool design and very visible at night ride.

I am always looking for a decent rear light and after many months perusing your products I chose this rear light.
I couldn’t hide my disappointment when I first installed it and it has left me wondering about the amount of real world testing you do.
I shouldn’t have to point out that almost without exception the seat post, to which these lights are attached, is on an angle (commonly 73°) and when the Blinder Rear light is in place it points toward the ground and NOT in a horizontal direction.
You may consider this a moot point as there are many LEDS in this light, but compensating this directional mis-alignment by increasing the brightness is not a worthy solution.
How hard would it be to design the housing so that it accommodated this 73° slant of the seat tube and post?
And while you’re redesigning the housing how about moving the switch to what will now always be the bottom. This is a much better location, ergonomically, than scratching around on one side or the other.
My Moon rear lights have had issue this covered for many years.

The light feels solid and works well. While the plastic extension holding the USB charging conductors may look flimsy, the connection is solid and has a bit of flex too. It wouldn't easily break simply from dropping it, although it probably would if you accidentally stepped on it. Also because of this design, this light sits most securely when mounted on the seatpost. Even with the smallest band provided, if you try to mount the light onto a seatstay it doesn't grip as tightly and will be prone to moving when you go over bumps, which could also potentially cause it to hit your spokes. There is also no method provided for mounting the light vertically. It will sit at whatever angle your seatpost has, but because there are no lenses involved, the angle makes little difference to its visibility. At night the various solid or flashing modes are easily visible from expected distances. However in sunny daylight you can barely notice even a flashing pattern from more than about 200 meters away, so it's not really suited for daytime use on open roads where you are contending with motor vehicles.

They are reliable and good looking, it straps tight.

But when you think about it, why are they outside walking in the dark late at night. Kinda their own fault right?

I bought the front and rear lights and absolutely love them. My daughter's love the flashing skulls and argue over who gets to follow behind me the closest. I no longer have to worry about where they are because like good little moths they chase the bright light for the whole ride.

My recent purchase of the Knog Blinder Rear light has met my expectations. There is a flashing light mode to suit any riding situation. I use the very intense pulsing mode during on the bright sunny days.

Pretty awesome

No matter the time, location or weather conditions I feel loudly confident that I can be seen—probably from space.

Easy to fit and remove. I hardly ever seem to have to charge it.

Even if you don’t have a bike buy one. You can use it to freak out a younger sibling or you could turn it on, put it in your mouth, close your mouth only opening it slightly to smile at passers by and there’s your whole Halloween costume.

Very bright. Very Peaceful.

The light is amazing but the elastic band is not connected and I keep losing it when I take the light on and off. I just spent an hour tearing apart my bags and apartment to find it (under the couch). I super-glued it in the end but seems like a design flaw.

Light has great options and very bright

disappointing quality ... I bought mine around 2 years ago and used it occasionally (10 - 15 times) ... after only 3 months the front light died out slowly; the battery didn't hold more then 15 minutes .... now it's the turn of the back light ... it doesn't turn on any more ... the green light indicates a full charge but that the only light which come out ... disappointing ....

Accidentally put my Knog Blinder in the washing machine on short wash cold cycle. Still works! Amazing!

Such a fantastic light. I'm sure that this light is the best bike light but forbidden to use in Germany. But who care's. I love the peace symbol.

Blinder Rear Bike Light

I need a slow blink at a lower intensity for our club rides. The Blinder doesn’t have it. I liked the idea of the mount closure but during the ride, mounted on the seat post, it kept touching the inside of my leg. The charge didn’t last on an under 3 hour ride.

Small but not tiny. Lots of optional flash styles but be careful to choose one that will allow the batter to last for a ride longer than a couple of hours. Certainly bright enough to be seen over a long distance. I would buy another.

Love these lights. Got front and back. Had a bit of trouble with charging. Even though the USB apparatus is incredibly easy to figure out, I still managed to get it backwards more than once and end up with one light uncharged. A little worried about how the chargers are going to hold up if I don't baby the heck out of them. The o-ring assortment is perfect, even if it's a little fiddly.

Could use a dimmer function though. Sometimes it's too bright!

Mounting clip went broken during installation. Poor Quality.

Excellent light, post mount only is the only option well worth removing the saddle bag.

Bit disappointing it doesn’t last a 6 hour ride on the economy flash

Blinder Rear Bike Light

Solid rear light and BRIGHT. Coming into winter and shorter days on the Gold Coast I was keen to grab a new light to make me more visible on those early rides. The light is easy to use and lasts a long time off a single charge using it in the more economical modes. I would recommend. Ryan.

A good portion of my cycling is in rural areas and well before sunrise.
I am always impressed by how visible the Knog lights are on the road, inlcuding side flare which makes me more visible to traffic approaching from the side also.

Love the new rear light, adds a bit of character to the bike with its skull/pac-man design
