Big Cobber Front Bike Light
Lumens are a measure of the total amount of visible light from a light source. The higher the lumen rating the “brighter” the light will appear. Lux is a similar method to measure light across a surface area that is often used in European markets.
The Big Cobber Front Bike Light produces an incredible 330° of light, so you’ll be clearly seen from in front as well as from both sides. It’s brilliantly effective at attracting attention day and night, making it one of the safest lights you could choose.

18 factories told us Cobber would be impossible. We were happy to prove them wrong.

I love the way the light fits on the front stem of my folding bike. It takes up less space than other designs would. The light is bright and the customizable settings via the app are useful. However, the rubber band broke after just a few days in the cold weather. It would be nice if there were another way to strap it on (I improvised something new, but a simple velcro or thicker rubber strap would have been better than the band included, I think). Also the charging male USB connector sticking out of the light seems fragile. When I take the light off of the bike, leaving the clip on the bike, it would be nice if the USB connector weren’t sticking out to be broken off easily. I have to be very careful with it, and this just seems an odd design choice. Overall a bit odd, and rather expensive, but quite a nice light.
Light is a great size and bright - i needed one which fits on my headtube.
Love the fact I can download different light modes.
Headtube rubber bands are way too small. Fortunately I have a spare from an old light.
Only real downside is the charging which is a PITA. How many places have a female old-school USB charger - practically none! It should be USB-C or at the very least USB male.
Well it's good but doesn't mount real well on headstem or my 3t bars,,. At least they will see me if there even looking. Gregory Higgins.
Good light. My only criticism is the absolute lack of instructions on how to get the clip off the light for the first time. Also, the light arrived dead which isn’t the end of the world but sorta annoying.
I use this device to be seen by others by night, it works very well.
The button to start the device is way to small (impossible to use it with gloves).
I only use one pattern (low), I wish I could get rid of those i don't use. (I tried to in the PC application but I didn't succeeded).
The autonomy is not long enough (five hours in low mode when weather is not cold)....it should be doubled.
The "attach system" should be "Garmin compatible".
Thank you
Thomas Pasteris.
