Our e-bike lights are powered by the motor of your electric bike and need to be installed manually. This is a simple task for a trained e-bike professional and we'd suggest you have them handle the installation as it may require some disassembly of the bike and motor (depending on the battery make and model) and additional wiring to connect the light to the motor.
To confirm the compatibility of your e-bike motor you can reference our E-Bike Light Compatibility Chart or you can check the manufacturers specifications.
If you're unsure of the motor specifications of your e-bike, you can usually locate this with a quick internet search or you can contact our support team who can assist you.

It looks nice. Having to go buy new M4 screws is pathetic. Won’t be able to install it till those come…
Someone at Knog needs to fix this.
The a really nice simple taillight which was easy to wire into an electric bike. It came with incorrect length screws which was frustrating for an expensive product.
The instructions were also only available in German but the headlight came with Polish, French and English.
They make a great light but I’m not sure IT is Knog strong. They offered a 20% discount with this review if you included a photo or video but there is nowhere to upload an attachment. Oh well.
