Blinder Front Bike Light
Lumens are a measure of the total amount of visible light from a light source. The higher the lumen rating the “brighter” the light will appear. Lux is a similar method to measure light across a surface area that is often used in European markets.
Using new Chip On Board (COB) technology, the Blinder Front Bike Light produces a punchy 200 lumens and is brilliant for attracting attention on the road or trail in all light conditions.

I had the previous model (Blinder MOB) and was very happy with it. But then the hook that the rubber is attached to broke off and I could no longer attach the lamp, although it was otherwise fine. Without the hook, there is no way to attach the lamp, not even with cable ties or other workarounds. So I bought this new model as a replacement and I have to be honest, I have no idea what to do with it. It lights up exactly to my front wheel, no further (that's not an exaggeration, it's really true). It is absolutely unsuitable as a bicycle light, you can't see anything in the dark with it. It also has countless flashing modes that nobody needs and that you have to click through for hours until the right light comes on again. The rubber mounts are very practical, but have the disadvantage that you have to readjust the light after every bump in the road because it slips. For this reason, I prefer to attach my light to the front tube of the frame rather than the handlebars, also because the handlebars are for your hands and not for bits and pieces. But then the lamp is turned 90 degrees, which you can't change.
The advantage of the lamp is its attractive shape, quick installation and long battery life (which is not surprising given the ridiculously weak light...).
The result is that I've now thrown 100 EUR out the window because one lamp broke and the other is unusable from the start. Very disappointing.
I absolutely loved the design and was using Knog lights for a while. Recently I bought 3 new lights, two of which were defected. One is loosing charge fast even if it not used, the other one has some dead LEDs. The team was responsive though, and compensated one of the lights. I hope that it was just a bad batch of lights.
I just love this little brilliant addition to my Ebike! See and be seen!
Very good safety light
I've had the knog for around 12 months and used it purely as an emergency front light so it has been used around 10 times. Needed to use it as the days are now shortening for the last 20 mins or so on my rides before it gets too dark and the light just keeps turning off. It keeps lasting for around 30 seconds and turns off again. I then tried it at home and it stayed on and worked! I decided to run the battery right down and do a full recharge. Sadly this hasn't fixed anything. Really frustating. It could be a lose connection somewhere as the insert into the USB is a bit flimsy ? Going to have to buy another front light now but hopefully one that is more reliable. Definately won't be using Knog again
