KNOG x EF Blinder 900 Front Light

I bought the Blinder 900 a few weeks ago and I can say what i think: this one is the best light in its category. Promt delivery (along with oi bell) without extra costs and hidden fees. I use it during nocturnal rides, I mostly spin in the mountains surrounding Athens! The case is robust but not heavy. I feel safe for it provides an excellent vision of the road, (small rocks and potholes are spotted and avoided) and a nice visibility in the surroundings! Overall: excellent buy and great value for money. EFHARISTO (THANK YOU) KNOG!

2 things. The mount provided doesn't allow for stem mounting. I've adapted the provided GoPro mount with an eBay bracket and some tape, but the aesthetic is poor.
Also, the Blinder mini taillights seem to ignore the fact that seat tubes are angled around 73 degrees. Knog! ...LEDs are directional. Please angle your mounts!! (Lezyne can do it)

Had my blinder clip fail on the first ride- but Knog was so good about hearing the issue and helping resolve it. They hooked me up with a replacement blinder, and I couldn’t be happier!

I’m bought my first knogs back in 2012 with USB charging in Germany. They are still working but I thought let’s get some new lights for the front. The blinder 900 are just unreal good. I even use them during the day with the blinker mode, as you never know in berlin want car driver is behind the wheel. I’m so happy with that new light that I will swoop my old back lights as well.

My first KNOG lights, the strife-prone PWR cylinder style lights with the highly unreliable clamp-style handlebar mount, was close to 10 years ago, and problems and disasters with those early products did not endear them to me long-term. Up until the recent fitting-out of a new road bike requiring a lighting rethink, assorted other lights were tasked on my MTB with the important issue of lighting the way at night. A re-visit to KNOG's burgeoning range was warranted after reading favourable reviews of the 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟵𝟬𝟬 and its 600 and 1300 lumen brethren; I was also lucky enough to encounter another roadie running the 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟵𝟬𝟬 who also spoke enthusiastically of it. The 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟵𝟬𝟬 is appealing for its light weight and slender design that fits perfectly in the "less-is-more" aesthetics that are now standard cockpit fare on road bikes. Easy one-touch operation was a prerequisite in my search, along with light weight. One couldn't ask for a simpler on/off/mode button on the 𝗕𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝟵𝟬𝟬, nor question the vast leaps in the design and efficiency of illumination — down-spread and spot-forward.I usually ride with the light set to 460 lumens, cranking up to the full 900 in unfamiliar, unlit areas.

A credit to KNOG as to how far their design, engineering nous and consistent refinement has come in 10-odd years

I got the 900 because I primarily do dawn or early evening rides occasionally. At 900 it does more than enough for those kind of rides. I often set it to a lower setting to extend the battery life. I love the included mounts and the option to use a GoPro mount. Construction is superb which is one of the main reasons I went with a Knog product. Loving this light so far!!

I've used this light for more than 6 months and it's been good: nice form-factor, reliable, simple 3-mode interface, good battery life and sensible lumen spacing. I had initial concerns about the mounting solution, and though I'd prefer a more robust fixing method, it has proven reliable. What I [really] dislike about this light is the choice of beam profile; it's too wide. Too much light is being wasted on the periphery rather than being forward-focused (i.e. 'throw'). If you think this might be an issue for you, I'd suggest exploring other options, as I since have. I'd encourage the design team to explore a more suitable, focused beam pattern that provides illumination where it's needed the most.

The light works really well, it's bright and seems to be visible.

An otherwise great light let down by excessively wide spill, especially vertically, and not enough focused throw on high. It illuminates my axels, and casts strong shadows of my shifters.
The excellent parts of it are battery life, excellent beam quality (zero lens artifacts), solid construction, mount holds well, great single-button interface (I particularly like the mode shift being low-high-med-low).
On high, I found the spill washed out any throw and didn't provide that much increased distance. I want the road in-front to be the brightest thing - not my front tyre.

Blinder 900 Front Bike Light

I love the GoPro mount. The light lives under my bike computer on the out front mount. I use it for road riding. I only use the lowest brightness setting. The battery life is good, but i bet the blinder 600 on the lowest setting is better. It is easy to remove the light when fixing a flat in the dark. It is relatively compact. Nice design overall.

Great light, simple to use.

I love the compact and sturdy design, the simple and secure mount, and the ease of use. The beam brightness is as described and visibility is excellent on each setting.

Only used a few times so far, but the light quality seems fantastic in both day and night riding situations. My only issue with it is that it moves a lot forwards in the mount (gopro) when riding. The closure latch on the mount doesn't feel like it closes solidly. Hasn't popped out like others have reported yet though.

I cannot get the light out of demo mode. I have written asking for help haven’t heard a peep . I am not satisfied at all. I also feel the starting instructions were very brief and hard to find

Love the brightness options of this light. Also, it looks durable in comparison to other lights and much lighter weight. I have really high hopes for this one, the mount is pretty sturdy and this is what I was looking for. My last light (different brand) kept falling from the mount and eventually broke.

Light is very bright, and easy to use.

Great build quality feels solid and performs well. Super bright for early morning rides. The provided bike mounts also feel robust while still allowing easy removal of the light for charging.

The Blinder 900 bike front light is nice and small and provides excellent illumination. It attaches securely to the handlebars and has a decent burn time.
