'light up the night and demand attention during the day with Blinder 1300.'

It's Simply The Best Front Light In Its Class

Set apart by considered design and innovative features.

Rock-Solid Mounting Options

Includes two seperate mounts; a tough and flexible rubber handlebar mount that fits diameters from 22.2mm to 35mm, and a Go-Pro style mount to mount the light below your computer or to a compatible helmet mount.

Industry Leading Battery Technology

Blinder 1300 is powered by a 5000 mAh rechargeable battery. This technology provides best-in-class power-to-weight ratio, meaning you get to enjoy a more compact design with longer runtimes than most other lights in this category.

Road Optimised Beam Optics

An innovative and considered design combines three wide beam optics with three narrow beam optics to provide high quality illumination for up to 120 m. At the optimum angle of 23 degrees, you get more light where you want it.

Intelligent Silicone Button

An LED light around Blinder's soft touch silicone button allows you to quickly see remaining charge and the charging status. A quick press of the button when it's off shows you remaining charge, with green being 100-50% charge remaining, yellow 50-25%, and red under 25%. When charging, a yellow flash indicates the light is being charged, which turns green when full.

Customers praised this exceptionally bright light as "Best Light ever" with "really bright" illumination ideal for night riding and daylight visibility. However, multiple customers reported significant mount security issues, with lights falling off during rides. Battery life varies: ~1.5hrs at max 1300 lumens, longer at lower settings. Compact design with GoPro and handlebar mounts included.

  • Best Light ever
  • I think it's disturbing for car drivers so I only use it when I'm on trails

Solid light and great mount

First purchase of a Knog light. Have some other products (Oi). Impressed with the build quality and the Go-Pro mount works out really well.

Great light

I bought this based on excellent reviews and because it came with a GoPro mount which enabled me to attach it to the underside of my Quadlock “out in front” mount. It’s very stable and streamlined front light.
Very bright and long life battery.

Great light however mount needs to change

Great light with great power
The only let down is the mounting system is certainly not secure enough mine took a tumble down the road at 45ks an hour after just rolling over a speed hump
It did show the durability of the casing as it did survive relatively in scaved
Will keep using it just need to bodge the mount to make it hole

Powerful, but the ergonomics could be improved.

The projector mount is convenient, but it is difficult to remove—especially for daily use. I’m concerned about the plastic part wearing out and how well it will hold up over time.
Adjusting the beam is fairly intuitive, but certain sequences are only accessible via a long press. I figured it out, but didn't see it mentioned anywhere; it would be very helpful to include this in the instructions.

Perfect light for MTB, Gravel and Road

Winter riding can be challenging. Morning and evening rides are dark, cold and sometimes wet. I found the light that can do it all. Very happy with the results.

Solid

A solid front light. I was initially a little worried about the mount (which uses a plastic cradle to snap onto the metal light) but after using it for a month I'm very confident. The combination of the rubber strap + plastic mount make it very easy to take on and off, even switching between bikes. I use it for daily commuting in the dark (more than bright enough) and nighttime road and gravel riding, for which the second-brightest mode is adequate in terms of light and duration. (Of course, we endurance riders will always wish for more battery life, but this one is a good compromise.) At 163g for the light + 19g for strap on my scale, weight weenies could find lighter alternatives, but given the safety factor, this weight weenie doesn't want to cut corners.

Excelent front bike light

When my old PWR Trail 1000 lumen front bike light began to malfunction, probably because of being frequently exposed to rain, I began researching for a replacement front bike light equipped with a tighter enclosure and a better handle mount. Despite negative reviews stating that the Blinder 1300 easily falls from its mount, I took the risks and bought it. Surprisingly I received not only the front light and the two mounts, but also an USB-C charging cable. The Knog Blinder 1300 front light is brighter than the PWR Trail Front Light, while battery life is comparable between the two, particularly when not using Blinder's 1300-lumen mode for too long (I mostly use the Eco Flash during the day and Low or Medium Steady during the night). Knog's Blinder 1300 front light weighs less than the PWR Trail 1000, cannot be disassembled, and has a better IP rating (IP67). It also weighs just 180 g, much less than the 230 g of Knog PWR Trail 1000. Differently from PWR Trail, the Blinder 1300 front light doesn't work as a powerbank, but I seldom needed to use this feature of my old front light. Because of other reviews, I took the precaution of attaching a spare lanyard to the Blinder 1300 (pictures) so that in the unlikely event of it getting detached from the bike, it wouldn't get lost or damaged. But, as I learned during the following weeks, this wasn't really necessary; I rode my bike with Knog's Blinder 1300 front light securely attached on pretty rough terrain and the light stayed firmly attached to its rubber handlebar mount. It is of utmost importance to properly attach the light to the mount, and usually a "click" should be heard when it gets properly locked in place. One feature I miss is the 4 red led battery level indicator of PWR 1000 (indicating charge above 75%, 50%, 25% and 0%). The Blinder 1300 indicator is steady green when charge is above 50%, then steady red between 10 and 50%, and blinking red when less than 10% of charge is left (the latter may be too late to begin saving power). Anyway, Knog's Blinder 1300 Front Light more than deserves a 5-star rating. Congratulations, Knog!

Great Bike Light

The Knog Blinder 1300 is super compact and super bright. The mounting system holds it pretty securely for commuter/city type rides. (I don't know how it would hold up on trail rides) The battery life is alright at the high power mode, and pretty good at the lower power modes. This is compensated by the fact it's USB-C rechargeable, so it is easy to charge on the go. I like that the light is so small because I could even use it as a handheld flashlight in a pinch.

Best light I've had.

This light is excellent. Battery life is good but could be better, very bright and top build quality.

Great brightness for a compact front light

Maximum lumen setting provides very good visibility. Even the 400lm setting is good for predictable roads. Would need to go to a much larger light to get >1000lm brightness for longer than 1.5 hrs, so I'm pretty happy that it's all packaged into this neat size.
The stretchy fastener to mount into the handlebars is okay. Doesn't feel as sturdy as other clamp on styles ice had, but in saying that, this light hasn't moved yet. Hoping the click-in light-to-mount system is durable as this light will be off the bike after nearly every ride to recharge.
Only 3 rides in, but pretty happy so far, particularly at the price.

Light is Super Bright

I purchased the 1300 Blinder front light after getting (and loving) my Blinker tail light. I was always getting comments on the tail light so I decided to upgrade my front light.

Our group set off on a recent evening ride. As we made our way back towards the starting point, we lost daylight. I was really impressed with just how bright the high beam was! And it was easy to switch on the go from the pulse strobe to the steady beam.

Once again others started asking me what light I was using. And once again I raved on my new Knog lights.

Good bike and handheld light

I got this light to commute to school and work in the morning. So far it’s been good. It’s Lights up the area pretty well but I expect more brightness with a 1300 lumen light. It lights a good 20 feet with a large portion been disbursed to the side. It gets the job done when communiting but I’m not sure if I’ll take trail riding. I did wish the light came with a lanyard or a place to put one so I can dummy cord it to my bike. Part of my school commute is taking a 7 mile single track to by pass a freeway. How it mounts I feel like it raffle loose. Therefore I zipped tied a key chain with a clip to it.

Blinder 1300 is awesome.!

Blown away with how bright and clear the 1300 is.
Great out on the trails mounted under my bars on my gravel bike. Simple to use and mount.
Already thinking about buying another one :)

I love it - great light and allows you to adjust where the gopro mount sits on bike

What is not clear from knog website is that there is a small lever on the go pro mount on the light that allows you to slide forward and back where you want the go pro mount to affix to the light. This is very useful as some lights are too long to fit under the handlebars on some bikes but with this light you can move the light forward on the mount so it fits on your bike. This was the case with my friends Trek Madone. So I love this light and it is very bright, USB-C charging is awesome, and it has many modes and a good indicator of battery life.

i bought 2 of these, one for me and one for my friend.

It’s Bright

I really like the light. The strobe feature during the day is great! You definitely have to watch your angle or you will blind everyone at night.
